Terms of use

Last updated 19 October 2026

These terms apply to everyone who signs in to Wellbriefed, which is run by Wellbriefed. Your council's agreement with us governs the service it buys; these terms cover how you use it.

Using Wellbriefed

Legal advice

Advice on your matters comes from your council's legal team, not from Wellbriefed. The completeness checks help you give Legal what it needs; they are not legal advice, and a complete form doesn't mean every legal issue has been identified.

Availability

We work to keep Wellbriefed available and secure, but can't promise it will never be interrupted, for example during maintenance. If something is urgent and the service isn't available, contact your legal team directly.

Your council's information

The information you send belongs to your council. How we look after it is explained in the privacy notice.

Changes and law

We may update these terms and will show the date above. They are governed by the law of England and Wales.
